PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap opener for a PET bottle which does not interfere with sales if attached to the PET bottle and which is difficult to remove from the cap after once mounted on the cap. SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 14 is integrally formed with a circular inner cylinder 13 outside the inner cylinder 13 having a cavity 23 for inserting a cap of a PET bottle, which is reduced in diameter to be slightly smaller than the cap of the bottle, while a horizontal slit 15 extending over approximately two thirds of a circumference is provided on the inner cylinder 13.
