PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate fastener in which planer contact area of the penetrating portion of a gypsum board wall is enlarged to prevent damage of the gypsum board wall even if pull-down load is applied. SOLUTION: The plate fastener is constituted of a drive-in locking plate 26 and an extended locking plate 28. In the drive-in locking plate 26, one end of a plate portion 22 made of a metal is a tip portion 23 and the other end thereof is a driving edge 24 for drive-in, and the plate portion 22 has screw holes 25. The extended locking plate 28 is disposed on one face side of the locking plate 26 so that the extended locking plate 28 is angled from and protruded rearward the driving edge 24. A rear end of the extended locking plate 28 is a driving edge 27 for knock-in, and a screw insertion hole 34 is disposed in the middle portion of the driving edge 27. At a root portion of the connecting portion of the extended locking plate 28 and the drive-in locking plate 26, first and second folding portions 31, 32 for folding the extended locking plate 28 are formed to be spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the extended locking plate 28. A flat plate part 33 is disposed between the first and second bendable portions 31, 32.
