PURPOSE: A micro plasma device for a back light of a liquid crystal display is provided to improve the uniformity of light emitting amount by forming a pattern on a top surface of a glass and press the plasma state gas density by forming a discharge cell on a surface of an electrode in a closed type. CONSTITUTION: A micro plasma device for a back light of a liquid crystal display includes an outer element(31) formed of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) and having a sealed inside space filled with gas, inside surfaces doped with a fluorescent material, a top surface formed with a pattern, and a fixing plate(311) formed at a lower end part, a cathode layer(32) fixed on the fixing plate, a spacer layer(33) formed on an insulation material formed on the cathode layer, and an anode layer(34) formed on the spacer layer as an anode, wherein closed type holes are formed penetrating the anode layer and the spacer layer to a predetermined depth of the cathode layer.
