METHOD FOR RECOVERING EFFECTIVE COMPONENT FROM POLYESTER WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a means for efficiently recovering a bis hydroxyalkyl terephthalate, or a terephthalic acid component and ethylene glycol as effective components from a polyester waste containing PTT(polytrimethylene terephthalate). SOLUTION: The DMT(dimethyl terephthalate) derived from the PTT is recovered together with the DMT derived from a PET(polyethylene terephthalate) as the effective components, and PDO(propanediol) is separated from EG(ethylene glycol) under a proper distillation condition when recovering the effective components from the polyester including <=50% PTT.
