PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the thickness of a fiber reinforced cement plate accurately and so that it can be regulated finely. SOLUTION: The height of slurry in a slurry supply box (8) and also the height of the slurry at any time point immediately after discharge (7a) onto a water permeable sheet (4), during dewatering (7b) or after the dewatering (7c) are measured. Based on measured values thereof, the height of the slurry in the slurry supply box is controlled so that the height of the slurry at the time point immediately after the discharge onto the sheet, during the dewatering or after the dewatering be a prescribed value, and the amount of supply of the slurry by a supply pump (6) is controlled so that the controlled height of the slurry can be maintained.
