PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical stapler capable of nipping a body tissue at an accurate position and surely stanching, cutting and suturing by preventing shaking of an anvil at the nipped position. SOLUTION: A rear end face 6H of an anvil body 6A is contacted with an anvil colliding surface 14A of an outer rod side by a retreating motion of an inner rod to the outer rod side 14, an action for rotating and closing the anvil 6 around a shaft 6E of a link 6B is conducted. The end face 6H is pressed to the anvil colliding surface at the position where the anvil is closed, a staple receiving surface 6C of the anvil is aligned in a longitudinal direction to a staple striking surface 5A of a cartridge 5, a control surface 6G rear of a rotatably supporting position of the link is contacted with an inner peripheral surface of the outer rod, and the staple receiving surface is positioned substantially parallel to the staple striking surface. |
