PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treating apparatus capable of obtaining a high treating efficiency by preventing clogging of a suction passage and atomizing of cooling water without thickening a sheath and without disturbing a visual field. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic operating apparatus comprises a hand piece 10 for generating an ultrasonic vibration, a probe 13 connected to the hand piece 10 to give the ultrasonic vibration to an organism, the sheath 12 covering the probe 13, a cooling water supply means 7 for supplying the cooling water 8 for cooling the probe 13, a suction means 9 for sucking an organism tissue, and an apparatus body 5 having a drive means 4 for controlling the drives of the supply means and the suction means. In this case, the drive means 4 regulates a set amount of the cooling water to be supplied by the supply means based on a set value of a suction pressure or suction flow rate of the suction means.
