EARTH RETAINING STRUCTURE USING LUMBER FROM THINNING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have superior workability of planting trees and to expand an application range of a construction part by positively and effectively utilizing thinning lumbers and lightening the weight. SOLUTION: Flat parts 4 for erecting a wall body 3 are formed along a contour line by excavating a slope 2 of a steeply inclined ground with a natural ground allowing planting of bolts 7, and rising parts 6 for boring holt holes 5 are formed. The wall body is formed of concrete column bodies 8 and the lumbers 10 from thinning horizontally fastened via metal fasteners 9. When the lumbers 10 reach the serviceable life as the structural materials, the metal fasteners 9 are cut so that the lumbers are replaced for new materials every two stages.
