PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure capable of effectively and rationally transmitting stress in a joint part between a tubular member and other structural member and to provide a building using the support structure. SOLUTION: A first spherical slide face 19 of an annular plan view, which is flush with a first virtual sphere Sv1 with a point on the central axis Va of the prestressed high-strength concrete(PHC) pile 12 set to a curvature center 01, is formed on the upper edge of the PHC pile 12 vertically driven in the ground. A second spherical slide face 22 is formed in a part opposite to the upper edge of the PHC pile 12 out of the bottom face of a superstructure 13 and the stress is transmitted between the superstructure 13 and the PHC pile 12 via an abutment face between the first and the second spherical slide faces 19 and 22.
