<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor and a method for improved measurement of turbine exhaust gas temperature. SOLUTION: A method for determining a parameter characteristic of a normally occurring exhaust gas temperature distribution of a turbine is provided. Based on the characteristic determination, a characteristic of a filter function is determined for eliminating an alias signal from a normally occurring pattern or remarkably decreasing their intensity. A distribution gradient thermocouple system or a resistance thermometer system is used as a sensor 30 providing the filter function for this purpose. Such sensor system example is disclosed. This method and the related sensor improve a detection limit related to the exhaust gas temperature distribution used for monitoring, diagnosing, or controlling a gas turbine 13.</p> |
