PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify various printer states to a user with a light emitting diode. SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises a black ink cartridge 24 and a color ink cartridge 26. Thereafter, in a second stage after having a carriage 22 moved to the home position by when action, the light emitting diode 30 is in different display embodiments for the cases of the ink residual amount error generation in the black ink cartridge 24 and the ink residual amount error generation in the color ink cartridge 26. |
