PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firstly provide a method to attain efficiently a conversion to a favorite color, and to secondary provide a method and apparatus to attain a favorite color conversion capable of converting at high speed by an actual color conversion means. SOLUTION: In the method, a color conversion that is performed on a sample image is created as a multi-dimensional color conversion table, and data from the table is incorporated into the color conversion means.
