An adjustable link assembly 30 is provided that includes a first and a second rod 34,36 each threadably engaging a bore (42, Figure 3) of a body portion 32. A locking mechanism 38 is slidably disposed about generally the entire length of the body portion 32. Locking mechanism 38 includes an engagement portion 60 and a lever 62. The lever 62 has an eye 70 that engages a post 56 on the first rod 34 to deter relative motion between the body portion 32 and the first and second rods 34,36. In the locking position, lever 62 also engages receivers 46 and is held in position by expandable retainers 48. |
