PURPOSE: Provided are novel variety of Prunus serrulata var. spontanea for landscape and its asexual reproduction. The Prunus serrulata var. spontanea has a double flower, is a weeping type of tree and 23 day blossom period, and it is propagated by asexual reproduction. CONSTITUTION: Prunus serrulata var. spontanea is characterized by having a weeping type of tree, a double flower, and 23 day blossom period. It has 8.0±1.0 of bunches per 20cm branch, 54.0±10.8 of flowers at intervals of 20cm, a flower stalk of 2.9±0.04cm in its length, a flower of 3.0±0.17cm¬2 in its size, 24.3±0.8 of petal having a length of 1.5±0.03cm and a width of 1.0±0.01cm, 12.8±1.21 of stamen, and 0.3±0.26 of pistil. Also, it is propagated by asexual reproduction, especially grafting.
