PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing apparatus with which a user who performs mixing or the like can directly get involved with positive playing at low cost and with simple manipulation, and to provide its control method, and a storage medium. SOLUTION: In the mixing apparatus for voice data equipped with a plurality of pads, firstly, a target pad is specified by setting a cursor on a 'PAD SEL' button and pushing an enter key, then, a desired region in region display area 28a2 is selected by setting the cursor on a 'RGN.SEL' button and pushing the enter key, and lastly, a sound file corresponding to a selected region is assigned to the target pad by setting the cursor on an 'EXECUTE' button and pushing the enter key. |
