PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk emulation device which is capable of developing game software or the like and testing (debugging) the same efficiently. SOLUTION: The optical disk emulation device comprises a hard disc unit 2 which is capable of reading data from an external host device 71 via the first connector CN1, an optical disc interface division 8 which can be connected to an external optical disc controlling division 6 via the second connector CN2 and an optical disc emulation controlling division 7 which is located between the hard disc unit 2 and the optical disc interface division 8 and reads out corresponding data from the hard disc unit 2 in accordance with a data readout command from the controlling division 6 and outputs the data to the division 6 in a timing and format according to a specification of the division 6. |
