<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite nonwoven fabric excellent in water absorbing properties and strengths together with an appearance having highly complicated patterns such as letters, designs and the likes. SOLUTION: In producing a composite nonwoven fabric in which pulp and continuous fibers comprising a spun bond nonwoven fabric are mutually interlaced and a non-opening pore region where the pulp and the continuous fibers are densely present and a pattern-forming region where the pulp is essentially absent are formed throughout the whole area of a sheet, arbitrary patterns such as letters, designs and the likes are imparted on the surface of the composite nonwoven fabric by together arranging plural heat fused points having the ratio (Ae/Ao) expressed by an area per one fused point (Ae) comprising the spun bond nonwoven fabric over an area per one pore (Ao) where essentially no fibers present in the pattern forming region of the produced composite nonwoven fiber and brought to be 2.0-10.0.</p> |
