PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stiffness of the vane parts 13 of an impeller R to be used in a water pump and to improve pump performance of the water pump. SOLUTION: The impeller R of the water pump comprises a boss part 10 into which a shaft 22 is fitted, a plate-like flange 12, and a plurality of the vane parts 13 erected from the flange 12. The tips 13A of the respective vane parts 13 are connected and fixed by means of an annular plate 1.
