PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to release engagement of a control panel or an end plate with a support frame at the time of assembling an instrument at an assembling position. SOLUTION: An inner surface 72a of a protective part 72 formed on an outer peripheral part 71 of a lower case 70 is positioned outside of an outer peripheral surface 61c of a front panel extended part 61. Consequently, the front panel extended part 61 having an engagement hole 61a and an engagement part 33 are protected from a member on the vehicle side by the outer peripheral part 71 of the lower case 70 at the time of assembling the instrument on a specified opening part of an instrument panel. Accordingly, it is possible to make it hard that the front panel extended part 61 and the engagement part 33 make contact with a member on the vehicle side and make it hard to release engagement of the engagement part 33 and the engagement hole 61a.
