PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket metal for an arm type lift allowing a four-point bracket to reliably abut on the lift point of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This bracket metal comprises a holding stopper 2 constituted of a screw rod 2a screwed into a screw hole 1d bored at the tip section of the vehicle support arm 1c of the arm type lift and a holding pedestal body 2b provided at its upper end, a bracket shaft 3 vertically movably inserted into an insertion hole 2c formed in the vertical direction at the center of the holding stopper 2, a bracket body 4 provided at its upper end, and a slide locking means 5 for pressing the bracket shaft 3 at the prescribed pressure from the side face of the holding pedestal body 2b.
