<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce working hours by drastically changing the irradiation shape and the scanning direction of a laser beam onto a work piece, further stabilize and enhance the work quality by removing the work overlap. SOLUTION: A stack block 11 having a built-in laser diode array is moved in the radial direction to expand and reduce the diameter of an approximately cylindrical beam 16. A circular groove 1a, which is in the machining longitudinal direction of a valve sheet part 1, is scanned in the radial direction, which is in the machining traverse direction, at the predetermined speed with an approximately circular beam 17 formed upon the irradiation. Then padding powder 4 supplied throughout a whole periphery of the circular groove 1a in advance is annularly welded to each other in sequence.</p> |
