<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head and a production method thereof which enable free designing of the weight distribution, the position of center-of-gravity depth of the club head and material of members. SOLUTION: The golf club head 10 has a face member 11, a crown member 12, a sole member 13 and the like. The face member 11 is formed by forging and has a flange 11b bulging over the entire circumference thereof toward the side opposite to the face surface 11a. At this point, the face member 11 has the thickness of the face surface 11a differentiated from the thickness of the flange part 11b-3. The face member 11, the crown member 12 and the sole member 13 are joined by brazing 14 or the like.</p> |
