PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multipage printer in which multipage printing can be carried out easily in accordance with Japanese vertical writing style or Arabian writing style even with a simple printer having only a function for printing image data by making possible to alter the arrangement of intensive pages at the time of multipage printing. SOLUTION: A printer drive section 3 comprises an image generating means 5 for contracting the image data of each page based on a designated contraction rate of a converted graphic writing function to generate an intensive page, a landscape converting means 6 for rotating the intensive page by a specified angle depending on the contraction rate, and a collective page generating means 7 for arranging a plurality of intensive pages subjected to landscape conversion at specified positions to generate a collective page. |
