PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string for a mask capable of securely fixing a mask without generating the pain in ears brought in contact with a string when putting the mask on for a long time. SOLUTION: The string for the mask is formed by adhering a plastic film 13 to both surfaces of a soft polyurethane foam 11 so as to obtain the drawing at 300-800% and the breaking strength at 3-15 N/mm.
