PURPOSE: A data transmitting method and a data transmission channel apparatus of a SUN bus and a VME(VERSA Module Eurocard) bus are provided to improve the system performance by minimizing a delay time when a requester for a bus transmits data to a slave on another bus. CONSTITUTION: An intervention unit(203) searches first and second external data transmission acknowledge signals at a time when a requester on a VME bus generates a bus usage request signal and provides a bus usage approval signal to begin data transmission from the requester. A first data buffering unit(204) buffers data inputted from the requester through a data bus to output it. First and second request handler(201,202) generates data storing signals when the requester begins data transmission and set first and second data storing acknowledge signals. A memory sequentially stores data of the first data buffering unit(204). A SUN bus requester(207) drives the data stored on the memory. A second buffering unit(208) buffers data from the SUN bus requester(207) to transmit to a slave on a SUN bus.
