The invention relates to microcapsules containing a core and a wall material enveloping the core. Said microcapsules are characterised in that the wall material is strengthened by means of inorganic oxidic materials. The inventive microcapsules are suitable for use in washing and cleaning agents, medical and cosmetic products, adhesive and coating products and surface treatment products.
