PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driving device simple in its circuit configuration and low in its manufacturing cost by lowering breakdown voltages of respective elements provided in the driving device. SOLUTION: This driving device is provided with a first signal line OUTA whose voltage is fluctuated between a positive voltage (+1/2 V) smaller than a voltage V to be applied to a load 20 and the ground level, and a second signal line OUTB whose voltage is fluctuated between the ground level and a negative voltage (-1/2 V) by switches SW1 to SW3 and ON/OFF of the switches. Thus the breakdown voltages of the respective elements can be reduced to the half of the conventional case by controlling the maximum voltage to be applied to the respective elements in the device to a voltage (1/2) smaller than the voltage V to be applied to the load 20 while applying positive and negative voltages given from the first and second signal lines selectively to the load 20 by the ON/OFF of switches 4, 5.
