To produce a woven reinforcement fabric, a grid is formed of glass fiber filaments as the warps and wefts. Directly after weaving, it is fixed in a fixing zone before its movement path is deflected at a roller. To produce a woven glass fiber grid, for reinforcement applications, the material is fixed by a latex formulation after the ends of the wefts have been trimmed. The material is cut after the fixing stage, before it is wound. An Independent claim is included for an assembly to produce a woven glass fiber reinforcement netting grid with a fixing zone (13) directly after the loom (5), using two rollers (7, 8). One roller is immersed in a trough containing the fixing material, and the woven netting (3) moves between the rollers. A heater (10) is after the application rollers, before the first path deflection roller (33), and has a wind trap (14) at its leading end with an L-shaped strip coated with an insulation cladding layer. The wind trap has a deflection strip at an angle along the fabric, to the heater. The heater is contained within an upper insulating hood (34) and a lower trough, with the wind trap mounted at the hood. The fixing zone has cutters (15) for the weft filaments, with two shafts across the fabric width fitted with polygonal cutters. The shafts are linked to a drive so that the cutters rotate at different speeds.
