PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for vicarious execution of commerce settlement using one settlement proxy card stored with pieces of credit card information. SOLUTION: This system has an authenticating terminal 201, an authentication proxy server 100, and a center terminal 300 connected to a network 101 and settles commerce by using the settlement proxy card 102 read by the authenticating terminal 201, and an operator specifies a commodity that an orderer desires and one desired credit card for payment through the authenticating terminal 201. The authentication proxy server 100 sends this information to the center terminal 30 to authenticate the card. The center terminal 300 after authenticating the credit card sends the authentication result to the server 100. The server 100 sends the authentication result to the authenticating terminal 201. |
