PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printer capable of saving power consumption, while improving usability. SOLUTION: This network printer sets the IP address of a first computer connected to a network and registered as permitted for accessing an IP address table of a non-volatile memory to a variable A in a power source control processing. Then, an operation condition of the variable A, with respect to the computer is detected and determined whether the variable A is in the middle of operation. When the variable A is in the middle of operation, the power source control processing is completed exactly as it is. When a next computer in the IP address table of the non-volatile memory exists, an IP address of the next computer is set to the variable A and is then processed in the same way. When the operating condition of all the computers registered to the IP address table are detected and all the computers are not in the middle of operation, or in other words, when power sources thereof are turned off, the power source of the network printer is turned off (steps S101 to S106). |
