PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directivity control antenna device for improving receiving sensitivity corresponding to high speed data transmission and providing high- speed and high-performance antenna directivity control concerning a directivity control antenna device in mobile communication. SOLUTION: An array antenna 5 of a base station is composed of plural sub-array antennas 18, the estimated result of an arriving direction estimating means 9 is improved by devising the location or signal processing method of the respective sub-array antennas 18, estimation of arriving direction and control of antenna directivity are performed for each of sub-array antennas 18, calculating time required for signal processing is shortened and even to a mobile station moving at high speed, the directional beam of an antenna can be tracked.
