摘要	<p>The subject of invention is a support to enable swinging or rocking which allows a longitudinal motion, limited to a certain shorter distance, in the sense of swinging or rocking of a superimposed chair, cradle or similar piece of furniture, while the lower part of the support remains motionless. The support to enable swinging or rocking consists of a stable basic frame (1) which is bound by means of stiffly mounted pairs of linkage elements (2,2') to the upper motionless frame (3), on which two movable frames (5,6) are elastically mounted by means of pairs of linkage elements (4,4'). A seat of the chair or a bottom of the cradle is installed on the movable frames (5,6).</p>
