PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress thermoacoustic vibration of a high frequency without using a component needing a high cost and sufficient maintenance. SOLUTION: In a method for decreasing the generation of thermoacoustic vibration in a fluid prime mover having a burner system, a burner system is provided with at least one burner (3) and fuel is fed in a burner through at least one fuel nozzle (2). The fuel is mixed in combustion air flowing in the burner (3) to form a fuel air mixture. The fuel air mixture is ignited in a combustion chamber (4) connected to a burner system. The fuel is fed in the burner (3) through the burner nozzle (2) in a manner that the fuel is pulsated at a frequency variable between 1 Hz and 1000 Hz or a fixed frequency.
