PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fragrant composition incorporated with a fragrance in a state resistant to decomposition even in contact with other components of the composition and capable of keeping the fragrance for a long time in a keratin substance. SOLUTION: The is transparent solid cosmetic composition is composed of a physiologically permissible medium containing at least one kind of fragrant substance of an amount effective for applying fragrance to a keratin substance and a liquid fat phase composed of at least one kind of polymer. The polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-30,000 and contains at least one 12-120C aliphatic chain composed of (a) a polymer skeleton having hydrocarbon repeating unit containing at least one hetero atom and (b) an arbitrary functional group bonded to the unit in the form of a pendant and/or a terminal group.
