PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can branch and connect VVF cables simply and surely with coating on as well as secure a high watertightness by surely sealing the inside of the connector. SOLUTION: With the connector with which VVF cables 3, 3', arranged to be connected to two parallel grooves 21, 22 formed on opposing faces of two half-cut synthetic resin body structures 2a, 2b are pinched and fixed from top and bottom by the body structures 2a, 2b, and conductive contacts 1... are inserted from insertion holes 23... fitted to either of the body structures 2a, 2b to connect the VVF cables, a thin-plate gel material 4 free in deformation is arranged between the VVF cables 3, 3' and the top and bottom body structures 2a, 2b, which is formed in a size at least covering almost all area of the opposing face of the body structures 2a, 2b.
