PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set with color display by which a user can easily confirm the arrival of a call even at a dark place. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set having color display panel is provided with a coloration change means that changes the coloration of the display panel according to the reception of an incoming call signal.
