PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a test result easily at low cost, and quicken the test, in a disaster prevention system having remote test function. SOLUTION: This system has a fire detection device 30 equipped with a fire monitoring device 32 having detectors 33, 34 connected thereto and a communication control device 31 having communication function, and a central control device 10 connected to the communication control device 31 through a general telephone network 20. The fire monitoring device 32 is equipped with a rotary switch 32a for setting the number of the connected fire detectors, and a counter 35a for counting the number of the detectors judged to be normal by a test, and transmits a test normal signal to the central control device 10 through the communication control device 31, when the number set in the rotary switch 32a agrees with the number counted by the counter 35a in the remote test executed under the central control device 10, or transmits a test abnormal signal in the same way, when both numbers do not agree each other.
