PURPOSE: A paper filter installation structure of vacuum cleaner is provided to easily separate a paper filter full of contaminants from a dust collecting chamber and to easily install a paper filter in an installation structure. CONSTITUTION: A paper filter installation structure(300) comprises a rectangular front plate(310) having an opening hole(311) in the center and a supporting unit(320) vertically extended rearwardly from the lower end corner of the front plate to support the lower portion of a paper filter and the entire portion of the installation structure. A fixing unit(330) is installed on an upper portion of the front plate to fix the upper end of a front board of the paper filter. The fixing unit consists of a supporting member(331) rotatably installed on an upper end of the front plate and a spring(332) elastically supporting the supporting member. A fixing piece(331a) bent downwardly to support the upper corner of the front board of the paper filter is formed on the rear end portion of the supporting member. Fixing protrusions(313) are formed on both upper end corners of the front plate to restrain the movement of the paper filter. The paper filter is separated from the supporting member of the fixing unit upon pressing the supporting unit. Therefore, the paper filter is easily separated from the paper filter installation structure.
