PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attached weir, which eliminates a conventional constraint of a necessary head in design of an intake weir, and obtains quantity of intake water sufficient enough to exert ability according to its application field. SOLUTION: By limiting the location and form of a catch pit to respective predetermined ranges depending on the head of the weir, an arbitrary low-head- type attached weir groundwater can be constructed. More specifically, an opening edge of the catch pit is arranged at a location between two planes. The first plate is a vertical plane extending from an intersection between a plane inclusive of gently inclined plane on an upstream side continuing to an overflow section, and a plane forming a downstream depression angle. The other plane is obtained by inclining the vertical plane 12.5 toward the plane including the depression angle.
