PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal type clamping holder A1 so useable at hand that, as the smaller the hand movement and the operation are, the better the safety in driving is considered, the holder A1 dispenses with the driver turning his/her eyes in driving, enables the driver to use necessary goods and expendables easily at hand with the minimum hand movement and is sure to contribute greatly to more comfortable driving and safe driving. SOLUTION: The pedestal type clamping holder A1 useable at hand is so constituted that an elastic clamping plate 12 is integrally manufactured on a pedestal plate 11 to a tip of which a U-shaped hook 6 is attached as shown in Figure 12-14, a case 3 is installed on it and mound on a cover 4 of a console box.
