RELEASE DEVICE FOR SNOW CHAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and practical releasing device for a snow chain being easily handled and easily manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: This release device for the snow chain is provided with an inside portion capable of being closed into a ring and properly disposed in an inside part of the tire and an external portion capable of being properly disposed in an external part of the tire, and the portions are connected together by elements variously constituted so as to generate a traction force of a tread. The release device is provided with a closing device 8 for closing as the ring being the inside portion and an actuator 50 acting to open the closing device 8 from the outside the tire by a user. The actuator 50 includes a protecting means for properly stabilizing the actuator 50. The closing device 8 can be manually opened without operating the actuator.
