PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balun element having desired coupling characteristics, even if positional deviation occurs during a laminating process. SOLUTION: At least one of coupling lines 14c, 14d and coupling lines 14e, 14f is set to be larger than the other in width. This allows the narrow coupling lines 14c, 14d to be laminated to the wide coupling lines 14e, 14f, even if the positional deviation occurs in some degree, when a dielectric layer 13d on the surface of which the coupling lines 14c, 14d are formed and a dielectric layer 13e on the surface of which the coupling lines 14e, 14f are formed are laminated during a manufacturing process. Therefore, the electromagnetic coupling degrees between the coupling lines 14c, 14e and between the coupling lines 14d, 14f of the completed balun element has the electromagnetic coupling degree of the designed value, and can easily get the desired characteristics.
