PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the weight of an ultra-low frequency and high voltage generator. SOLUTION: A demodulator 16 has a transformer case 17 containing an insulation oil in which a diode bridge circuit 6, a d-c bias capacitor 18 and control transformers 19a, 19b are soaked. On the transformer case top a first and second tapping bushings 9a, 9b are mounted with a d-c bias resistor 4 disposed between the bushings top ends. First ends of secondary windings of the transformers 19a, 19b are connected respectively to connections m1, m2 of the diode bridge circuit, the d-c bias capacitor 18 is connected between second ends of the secondary windings of the transformers, and the d-c bias resistor 4 is connected in parallel to the bias capacitor 18 through high voltage leads 10a, 10b. Primary windings of the transformers are connected to the input of modulating means.
