The tool has a transparent graduated body (1) and a hollow arm (2) which house a spindle (5). Jaws (3,6) with rims (4,7) are mounted on the ends of the hollow arm and spindle and grip a disk (11) on operating a button (8) attached to the spindle. The button is spring loaded (10) in the direction of jaw opening and has a cursor attached which is read against the graduations.
