PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broad band incorporating antenna with simple structure and low manufacturing cost which is accommodated in a case of a cellular phone set. SOLUTION: This antenna is so constituted that one end of L-shaped platy antenna 1 is grounded to a ground plate 2, that more than half of the open end of the platy antenna 1 is supported so that it is parallel with the ground plate 2, that an input end of an antenna exciter 3 is connected to an output end of a high-frequency circuit 4 by means of a coaxial cable 7, that the open end of the antenna exciter 3 is placed apart from and facing opposite to the open end of the platy antenna 1 and both are capacitively coupled with each other by forming a minute electrostatic capacitance between them. Thus the platy antenna 1 and the antenna exciter 3 create a multi-resonance state and broad band tuning characteristic is achieved. |
