The invention relates to a device for cleaning traffic areas (6) contaminated by environmentally damaging agents such as lubricants, motor fuel or similar. Said device comprises a hood (1) which can be suctioned with a high volume flow and which can be sealingly moved over the traffic area to be cleaned. The hood (1) comprises one or more spraying nozzles (7) which rotate around a vertical axis and are orientated towards the traffic area (6). The hood (1) also comprises one or more aeration elements (4) which are impinged upon by springs in the direction of closing and which open counter to the pressure of a spring (5) when predetermined pressure conditions occur in the hood (1). Due to said measures, the spray mist which is moistened with impurities can be removed immediately in a reliable manner from the hood (1) while the device is in operation. |
