PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle roof accommodated in a roof accommodation chamber space savingly by improving an accommodation mechanism. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a convertible vehicle roof particularly for a cabriolet, provided with at least one roof front side part 3 and a roof rear side part 4 which are movably supported to a car body of the vehicle and can be accommodated in the roof accommodation chamber 20. The roof front side part 3 is supported by rocking support devices 9, 13 slidably supported to a guide device 16 fixed to the vehicle. The pivot support device is moved along the guide device 16 when opening and accommodating the roof front part 3, and at this time, the roof front side part 3 lowers into the roof accommodation chamber 20. When the roof front side part 3 lowers into the roof accommodation chamber 20, it can be disposed at a position oblique or approximately vertical rocking position.
