PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body dimension measuring device capable of easily and accurately measuring the body dimension of a person 27 to be measured who desires to utilize a wheelchair. SOLUTION: To a floor plate 9, a chair 11 composed of a seat plate 13, a back plate 15 and a chair supporting shaft 17 is attached. The chair supporting shaft 17 is rotated, the seat plate 13 is vertically moved and the dimension h1 from the knee to the heel of the person 27 to be measured is automatically detected. To the chair 11, an armrest 19 composed of a horizontal bar 21 and an armrest supporting shaft 23 is attached. The armrest spindle 23 is rotated, the horizontal bar 21 is vertically moved and the dimension h2 from a seat surface to the elbow of the person 27 to be measured is automatically detected. A pair of shoulder sensors 25 are attached to a front wall 1 and a rear wall 3 and the dimension h3 from the seat surface to the shoulder of the person 27 to be measured is automatically detected by them. A pair of leg sensors 29 are attached to a right wall 5 and a left wall 7 and the dimension d from the backmost part of the hip of the person 27 to be measured to the knee is automatically detected by them.
