PURPOSE: An automatic credit card loss reporting and warning system and an operating method thereof are provided to restrain payment using the information of a lost card and to prevent damage on the owner of the lost card by disapproving payment authentication with the lost card. CONSTITUTION: A server analyzes the encoded data inputted from a card-reader and transmits the data to a credit card company. A server operating system verifies payment by the owner of a card by comparing the owner information particulars stored in a server database with the user information particulars before reporting payment authentication with the authentication value transmitted from the card company. A user authentication server database stores encoded variables and other user information instead of unprocessed real card values. If an unauthenticated person uses a lost card, payment authentication by the genuine user is repeatedly processed. Although payment by the genuine user is accepted, alarm canceling and re-payment processes are performed after direct server-use authentication by the server system. If genuine user authentication is decided to be impossible, an automatic lost card processing system and an alarm system are connected.
