PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite segment whose main cross section can be rationally designed and to the outer peripheral part of the inside surface of which caulking treatment can be applied after combined with each other. SOLUTION: In the composite segment obtained by filling a concrete C in the inner space of a steel shell 1 with its outer periphery surrounded by a circular-arc-shaped bottom plate 4 disposed on the outer peripheral side, main stringer plates 2, 2 disposed on both sides of the bottom plate 4, and joint plates disposed on both ends of the bottom plate 4, the bottom plate 4 and the main stringer plates 2, 2 are each composed of steel plates with different plate thickness and the end parts of the steel plates are integrally fixed to each other. Inside the bottom plate 4, a plurality of distributing bars 11 are installed in the vicinity of an upper part of the main stringer plates 2, 2. The distributing bars 11 are fixed to the main stringer plates 2, 2 and other distributing bars 12 are fixed to the bars 11 and the bottom plate 4. A new concrete is additionally placed on top of the concrete C above the upper face position of the joint plates and the main stringer plates 2, 2 so as to form concrete grooves 7, 7 along the outer periphery of the concrete C.
